Didsbury is an affluent suburban area in South Manchester. Made up of two wards, Didsbury East and Didsbury West it stretches from Princess Parkway to the West and Kingsway to the East, The River Mersey to the South and Withington Village to the North.
There are four shopping areas known to locals as Didsbury Village, West Didsbury, Fog Lane shops and East Didsbury shops.
Public transport and travel are well catered for. Train Stations can be found in East Didsbury and Burnage, and a Metrolink line runs from East Didsbury to West Didsbury and beyond with stops at Burton Road and Palatine Road in West Didsbury, Didsbury Village and East Didsbury. The A-roads and B-roads of Palatine Road, Barlow Moor Road and Wilmslow Road offer regular bus services in all directions through and beyond Didsbury.
The annual Didsbury Car show returns to take over Didsbury park on Sunday July 10th 2016. With an astonishing selection of cars from all decades and food and drink stalls to accompany, it's one not to be missed.
