Didsbury Beer Festival 2012 will take place from the 1st to the 3rd November.
DBF Beer Festival 5th Anniversary
The Didsbury Beer Festival in November celebrates it’s fifth year after raising the magnificent sum of £49,000 for local charities and good causes over the since it’s inception four years ago.
The Festival will take place over three days - Thursday night Nov 1st, Friday night Nov 2nd and Saturday all day Nov 3rd. Again the venue will be St Catherine’s Club School Lane, Didsbury. Also using the playground of St Catherine’s primary school they are able to site fantastic marquees to house the expected 5000 guests, 100 + real ales, 50 + ciders and perries and a selection of organic lagers.
Club chairman Michael O’Hare says “ it is greatly appreciated that the headmaster Mr Hennessey and school governors extend their cooperation and help with the DBF organisers in making the festival such a huge community success” .
Over the last four years the local charities to have benefitted from the funds raised are Francis House, Christies Hospital, Cornerstone. and Wood Street Mission.
Didsbury Beer Festival chairman Jeff Seneviratne says “this years good causes are the Seashell Trust” (which offers specialist provision for pupils and students from 2-19 years who have severe and complex learning disabilities),“and St Catherine’s Community centre which has been the hub around which the DBF has developed since it’s 2008 start and has provided us the use this community asset over the last five heart in the heart of Didsbury”

Didsbury Beer Festival 2011:
Didsbury Beer Festival 2011 will take place from the 27th to the 29th October.
After the incredible 3500 visitors who turned out to the 2010 festival three day event, it's sure to be a great place to be for the Thursday, Friday or Saturday night!
The chosen charities for Didsbury Beer Festival 2011 are The Cornerstone Day Centre - who provide services to adults facing a wide range of social issues including homelessness, poverty, social isolation, poor mental health, drug and alcohol addiction - and The Wood Street Mission - who help families in the Manchester and Salford areas, including practical help in the form of good quality second hand clothing and bedding.
The beer tent will be open:
Thursday 27th October 7pm to 11pm (£3 entry) Friday 28th October 6pm to 11pm (£5 entry) Saturday 29th October noon to 11pm (£3 up to 5pm and then £4 after 5pm)
With a huge range of Beers and Ciders the event is sure to be another must for your diary.

The Third Annual Didsbury Beer Festival is taking place between Thursday 28th and Saturday 30th October. With over 90 Beers from 20 local breweries and 14 Lakeland breweries, plus over 15 Ciders & Perries available at last years Didsbury Beer Festival you're bound to be spoilt for choice again in 2010.
The venue is St Catherine's Club on School Lane. It's a short walk out of Didsbury on the left side 100 metres before Parrs Wood Road. The venue has double last year's Didsbury Beer Festival capacity with the inclusion of a large heated Marquee beside the Club building.

Thursday 28th October 7.00pm to 11pm Friday 29th October 6.00pm to 11.00pm Saturday 30th October 12.00am to 11pm
Once the cost of the venue and alcohol has been paid, any profits from Didsbury Beer Festival will be going to local charities as with last year.
The event will include Live Music and Food.
