You may have noticed that the old clock tower in Didsbury Village is currently covered in scaffold.
Well the clock, which was originally built in 1910 is currently in the middle of a clean up. The algea will be removed, the clocks glass face replaced and a new door fitted to upgrade it's appearance. The drinking troughs will also be filled with planters to help stop rubbish gathering.
As well as an upgrade for the 100 year old clock, Didsbury Library and the war memorial are being cleaned up too.
