Loft Student Furnishings Division Launches To Instant Success

Within a week of the launch of www.student-furniture.co.uk – the specialist student division of buy-to-let property furnishing specialist LOFT Interiors – the website netted its first five figure order.

Building and civil engineering company Marcus Worthington was an early adopter, placing an £32,000 order of sofas, chairs and coffee tables to give 60 student apartments in Manchester the premium interiors expected by the market.

As well as individual items of furniture, the Student Furniture website offers products, packages and services to suit everything from providing replacement beds for halls of residence refresh, right through to furniture kits to suit every room in eight bed HMOs. Its product portfolio spans flooring to the finishing touches, including window dressings and accessories.

The website offers a turn-key furnishing solution for student accommodation providers, lettings and property management agents, landlords and even discerning students. The company’s innovative ‘Student Survival Kit’ includes everything a student needs to feel at home in their new accommodation – right down to towel and bedding bundles and cleaning equipment.

www.student-furniture.co.uk’s untapped potential came as a pleasant surprise to Ben Hall, founder of LOFT Interiors, as he had bought the domain name nine years ago at the same time he launched LOFT, which was greeted with immediate enthusiasm by the North West property market. However, the student focused domain name lay dormant for nearly a decade before its launch.

MD of LOFT Interiors and Student Furniture, Ben, commented: ‘’ We’d been so busy maximising opportunities with LOFT that www.student-furniture.co.uk gathered dust. If I’d known it was going to be the same instant success that LOFT enjoyed from its launch, it’s an avenue I would have maximised years ago!’’

Thanks to nine years’ industry experience, Student Furniture’s carefully sourced product range is built from a basis of first hand sector knowledge and the company’s dedicated installation and project management team ensure a seamless service – even down to removing old, unwanted furniture. Customers can even benefit from a bespoke manufacture service for fitted furniture.

A fleet of vehicles can deliver nationwide from the company’s recently expanded 20,000 sq ft, Manchester based warehousing facility and Student Furniture also offers an express, next day delivery service.

Ben continued: ‘’We’ve been supplying many of the major specialist student accommodation providers for years – including Liberty Living, the Mansion Group and Opal – but now our offering is better than ever with packages and products that are entirely tailored to their needs. We have some really exciting new product launches and services for the student division up our sleeves – to be rolled out throughout 2012. Watch this space!’’.
