The Wedding Fete is taking place on Sunday 14th April 2013 at The Old Parsonage on Stenner Lane, Didsbury.
Set within Didsbury’s very own secret garden, this unique and not-to-be missed event, bringing together the north-west’s finest wedding industry talents, is open to the public from 11am to 4pm.
Visitors will be inspired by what is on offer from a collaboration of the biggest and most respected names in the wedding business, perfect for couples who are seeking the highest quality and service.
On arrival, guests will be treated to a luxury goody bag and champagne, while BBC Food and Drink’s Kate Goodman, of Didsbury’s Reserve Wines, will be on hand to offer expert advice on choosing the perfect wines and champagne for your special day.
Lace Bridal, the North West’s award winning Bridal Retailer, will offer guidance and tips on choosing the dream dress with several dresses taking centre stage on the day, Harriet and Dee will be bursting with ideas for attendants and Lynette Page Make Up Artistry will be offering make-up demonstrations.
The Flower Lounge will have inspirational floral ideas, photographer Nicola Thompson will be there to guide you through creating the perfect wedding photos and the award winning Cakes by Beth will be showcasing their 2013 collection of impressive contemporary wedding cakes and dessert tables.
There’ll be an element of fun in the form of an instant photobooth called The Mighty Boof and expert stylists Pebble in the Pond will set the scene of The Wedding Fete, all to live music from the talented Fonix Music.
A number of wedding caterers, including Dough It Yourself, Didsbury Catering and Events and The Silver Apples Foods Co, will provide free food sampling and advice on planning the perfect wedding breakfast and evening buffets. Not forgetting a whole host of other wedding industry specialists, offering their experience and expertise on the day.
