The West Didsbury Residents Association is holding its Annual General Meeting on Monday 15th February at 8pm at The Albert Club on Old Lansdowne Road.
All are welcome, whether you are a current member or just interested in joining.
The West Didsbury Residents Association is a voluntary, non-partisan organisation which formed in 1983 in response to a fear by local people that some property developments were changing the face of the area and that, if nothing was done, the distinctive architecture, precious trees and wildlife and unique community spirit might be lost forever.
It was mainly due to its efforts that in March 1988 most of West Didsbury became a conservation area, and six of the local buildings were given Grade II listed status.
You can find out more on their website or by viewing their constitution.
