A woman who fell while on a bus that braked suddenly in West Didsbury has died.
The incident took place on the 23A bus as it was travelling along Barlow Moor Road at about 1pm on Monday 18 April 2011.
As the bus was near the junction with Clyde Road, it had to brake suddenly, causing the 80-year-old woman, who was about to get off, to fall to the floor.
She was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital for treatment to serious injuries. She later developed complications and died on Wednesday 25 May 2011.
