Fujitsu Shelter Take-over Challenge
Fujitsu UK have announced an official partnership with the charity Shelter. Shelter were chosen by the employees, as the charity the company will support for 2012/2013. Shelter is a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing.
As part of the fundraising activities planned for the year ahead, the 2011 graduates have been challenged to run a number of Shelter stores for one day (26th September), with the aim of increasing awareness of the charity and the store, and ultimately providing greater long-term revenue for the charity.
The Didsbury store on Wilmslow Road has been chosen as one of 6 stores under the programme. Team Serendipity will be running the store on September 26th from 9am until 5pm. The store has excellent products for sale, the majority are brand new, all for a fraction of the cost found elsewhere on the High Street. The team will have cakes and refreshments for customers, along with a raffle. For each £5 spent in store the customer will be entitled to one entry into the prize draw, to be drawn on the day. If that isn’t enough the team will implement a voucher scheme, whereby the first 40 customers to spend £20 in store will be entitled to a £5 discount on their purchase. Please come and visit the Shelter store on Wilmslow Road on September 26th from 9am, and help us make a difference.
