Nicola’s Bridal “Made By You” workshop offers crafty brides a special opportunity to create a bridal headpiece that is completely personal to them, from birdcage veils to flapper inspired headbands. A selection Silver Sixpence’s bespoke headwear will be on show for brides to see. Nicola’s hand-crafted headwear collection draws on styling influences from the roaring 20’s right the way through to modern times and provides brides with imaginative inspiration.
At the beginning of the workshop brides will be provided with a selection of luxury, vintage fabrics such as Russian veiling, antique lace and silk. As well as an array of pretty embellishments including one-off jewels, plush goose and ostrich feathers, vintage pearls, gems and unique buttons. Brides will also be given all of the relevant millinery materials required to make their headwear. To add a personal touch to your headpiece, Nicola suggests bringing along a special trinket or family heirloom.
