The Limes Nursing Home Opens It's Doors
First open in 1987, The Limes is the longest established private nursing home in Didsbury, Manchester.
We are taking part in 'The National Care Home Open Day' on the 21st June. The idea behind the day is to connect our residents with their local community. The day is also to try and help diminish any misconceptions about the care home environment that may exist.
We are planning a wide variety of activities throughout the day for new, prospective visitors, families & friends to take part in including bingo, crafts and various musical entertainments, an afternoon tea fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society and much more.
We would love it if as many people as possible from the community could come along on the day. Visitors will not only and meet our residents & staff, they will also have the opportunity to view a local care home and the services we offer whilst helping to raise valuable money for a such worthy cause such as The Alzheimer's Society.
A timetable of events will be detailed soon on the 'National Care Home Open Day' website (search for The Limes Nursing Home - Didsbury).
Our large car park means there are no access or parking worries for family, friends and other visitors.
We are also encouraging anyone who would like to volunteer on the day to contact Katy Herbert on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0161 446 2141. We would also love to hear from any local businesses who wish to be involved.
Looking forward to hearing from you all. The Limes Nursing Home
