On the corner of Wilmslow Road and Barlow Moor road is a large building that has been the home of Squires Public House, The Clock Tower Public House and more recently the failed Fugu Restaurant and Bar.
In November the building will be re-opened as a Zizzi Italian Restaurant with 100 indoor seats and seating for 60 outside. The chain already has two Manchester branches in the city centre located at Spinningfields and The Triangle.
The interior design of the restaurant has been influenced by both the Didsbury Dozen, the fact that the Zizzi building was originally one of the dozen pubs, and by Didsbury being where the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds was founded. A combination that should be interesting to say the least!
The menu contains the usual antipasti, pizza, pasta, risotto selection of an italian restaurant and us sure to directly affect the business of the existing italian style restaurants that have taken root in the centre of Didsbury.
As an added sweetener we can offer you 50% off your Zizzi food bill from the 23rd - 30th November by registering and downloading a voucher.
Opening hours: Monday Saturday, 12pm 11pm Sunday, 12pm 10.30pm
